Visit Cranford Hounslow, Greater London and the surrounding villages and stay in bed & breakfast, hotel or holiday accommodation accommodation provided by BedPosts members.
Cranford, once in the county of Middlesex, now forms part of Greater London within the Borough of Hounslow. It has a population of about 13,000.
The Church of St Dunstan has interesting monuments, the chief of which is that of Sir Roger Aston and his wife, executed in ‘alabaster, tuche, rance and black and white marble’ by William Cure, Master Mason to James 1.
Cranford also has one of only two remaining "lock-ups" in the Metropolitan Police area, which was built in 1838 to hold drunks and vagrants overnight, before finding use as a mortuary for the parish council.
